Through the Lucas-Glass: A Junior Self-Portrait Illustration by Lucas Andrade (2011)

For my self portrait illustration I tried to show my swinging personality, one moment loud and energetic, and the next lethargic and quiet, while the whole time being very distant. It always ends up that I am in the wrong mood at the wrong time amongst people. The ambulance represents the loud and energetic side of me, always rushed to be somewhere, and the couch represents the opposite, slow and tired, just craving to sit down, and shut my eyes. The whole scene happening on the moon, shows my distance from everything, the world in the background, almost out of focus.
