Locked Emotions: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Alexander Walther (2012)

In my photonarrative diptych I took two pictures which symbolically represent paranoia and reunion. The story is about a boy who has to leave his friends for a year and develops social anxiety. He becomes paranoid about everything. In the end he reunites with his friends and escapes his paranoia and has better self acceptance. The first picture in my diptych is a book titled, ''His Personality'' to represent the boy and his emotions within the book. However the book is covered and locked up to show that his paranoia is preventing him to escape. The second photo are two cloth hearts which lay next to each other. The first heart is shredded to pieces while the one next to it is connected and in one piece, to show reunion.
