The Giraffe: A Junior Narrative Illustration by Alexander Walther (2012)

In my narrative illustration I show the characteristics of how some species are greedy and could be more useful to the environment. The giraffe enjoys its days successfully eating its foods such as apples from the apple tree. The apple tree is too tall however for the small species that want to feed on this delicious fruit. The composition I made using illustration demonstrates how the giraffe expresses its main characteristic of greed. The long neck enables the giraffe to reach high places such as the apple tree. All the fresh apples that rest on the tree's branches aren't available for species that don't meet the height requirement. The giraffe could be more supportive if it put aside its objective of greed and realized that it could help out other small animals to thrive by feeding them.
