Don't Look Back: A Junior Narrative Illustration by Vladislav Popovsky (2012)

My illustrations is based on my Graphic Novel, which is about a woman who has her past haunting her and drives her self crazy and can't move forward. She is in a mental asylum trying to get out, in the end she finds her escape. In my illustration the woman is seeing looking back back for the last time before moving forward. The white doorway represents future, it's empty because it's yet to be made. And in order to move forward she has to move on and don't look back. The hallway is narrow because the path to moving forward can be real hard.
