Photo Montage: A Senior Surreal Photo by Julia White (2012)

The letters waltzed into her irises as she danced within the cosmos. The pages were the dregs of the universe, scorching through its vastly complex figure of numbers and sound. She dabbed her limbs into the worn words, with promises of a miracle. How could she stay there? Her sights were surely deceased by now, yet her finger was knotted by a string, anchoring her into concave prisms of genuine remorse. It would all be over soon. Perhaps the string would be split by the snip of juvenile scissors. And she would wait until her skin would tense and crack, but the scissors never came. She would spin and spin the string into a tangled frenzy, and she would with melt into the rhythm of anxiety-ridden. Her teeth would intercept the sounds of forfeit and destiny as she waltzed between nebulas and stars.
