The pot is hot. So hot the water churns as it tries to escape its metal confines. Limbs drop into the boiling water. They sink. Screaming and clawing, fingers and hands, desperate. Flesh melts and pulls, creating long, gummy cords. The hands reach ever higher, but the stubborn limbs just stretch. Fingers, tasting freedom, seek sanctuary in a cool white bowl with no hellish waters and no more screaming.
