Neglected Rebellion: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Jacob Behar (2013)

For my personal narrative diptych, I chose to depict the story I wrote for my film and graphic novel. It is the story of a boy who wants his father's attention and is willing to shave his head into a mohawk to get it. Chadwick, the well accomplished lawyer father, who doesn't have time to focus on his son Zach, pushes him away. Zach shaves his head in a final attempt to anger his dad into giving him some focus out of his busy day. To construct this piece, I put my two pictures side by side in Adobe Photoshop. I changed the contrast and color to be more dark and hold more feeling. I traced and outlined Chadwick in the first photo on the left so I could lighten his figure.
