Juicy Mom: A Junior Narrative Diptych by Annamari Jaaksi (2013)

This diptych represents a mom who doesn't want to get old, but instead wants to stay young and in style. She dresses in the newest Juicy Couture, which is also what her teenage daughter wears. Finally her daughter has a melt down and tells her mother that behaving like a teenager and trying to be her daughters best friend is not okay. The mother's problem is that she simply can't accept the fact that she is getting older. She needs to embrace every age, and be a mother to her daughter. I used a Nikon D80 camera to take the pictures. I then used Photoshop to edit the brightness and contrast to make the picture look as good as possible. I also added a filter to make the colors work better together.
