White Lines: A Senior Surreal Photo by Katie Kouvelas (2013)

For my surreal artwork I combined HDR photography with textures to create my final image. The background image uses HDR to create a more dynamic and interesting photo. There is extra texture added to the clouds to make them bolder. I chose to keep my design simple using white lines to keep the image balanced and I also used repetition in all aspects of my project to maintain consistency throughout the photo. The extensive use of repetition and whiteness evokes feelings of nostalgia and discovery.
