Be All: A Profile of Grant Beall - My profile subject is Grant Beall, a Junior at Los Altos High School who excels in athletics and academics alike. Grant is an amputee water polo player, who makes it a point not to be restricted because of his disability. Grant's confident, self-deprecating wit puts everyone at ease. I learned from my subject that we are not defined by our limitations, but rather we define what our limits will be. After meeting Grant, my outlook and view on life and the world has changed immensely. I understand now to appreciate how fortunate I am and not to ever take anything for granted.
