Transport: A Junior Conceptual Transport Project by Joseph Watson (2017)

The object in my photograph s a beaten up old longboard, outside in front of a beige background. The Lighting was completely natural, and not affected by me at all, and I chose the position of the board by finding a way to use a leading line towards the wheel. I chose my object because it is old and looks cool with all of the indents and marks that have been made on it.

My photoshop process involved cropping out any of the objects in the background on the side that were distracting. To get rid of distracting points in the more immediate background by using the spot healing tool. I also added a subtle yet also obvious hue to the focal point wheel. What I had learned and applied that helped enhance the image were the use of leading lines as well as the rule of thirds, both used to bring focus to the back wheel.
