About Me

Welcome! My name is Alex Sakamoto and I am currently a junior at Mountain View High School. I would describe myself as laid back and easygoing. Some qualities I value include honesty, loyalty, and humor. I enjoy trying new things and I have a special knack for picking up creative hobbies quickly. Drawing, painting, knitting, crochet, jewelry-making, and photography are just some skills that I have learned over the years.

Outside of school, I love spending time with friends and sometimes just taking naps. My favorite thing to do in my free time is watch movies in the theater or simply the house. I play volleyball for both MVHS and a club. With one of my old teammates, we run a clinic teaching youth volleyball skills in which all of the proceeds go towards underprivileged patients in need. This school year I expect to learn and grow not just in academics, but in all other aspects in life. In Freestyle, I hope to learn more about programs and abilities that will advance my professional skillset. I want to be able to communicate stories through my own, original lens that pushes my creativity. I am a loser!
