Through the design of my webpage, I express myself as a rocker and for my love of classic rock music. The "Rush 2112" background for one, tells you that I'm really into the band Rush and if you see my personal essay and poem, then you would know that explain myself as different from most teenagers because I listen to only classic rock/metal bands. The background music, in which I created myself with the program garage band, adds to the design of my webpage by being calm and somewhat futuristic sounding, but as well as depressing since I played it in mostly minor chords. The way I designed it was to mostly relate and flow well with the background with the similar colors. I also thought that the font went well with the whole Rush theme I have going on.

The purpose of this Narrative Project is to showcase your work in writing, digital photography, graphic design, audio engineering, and web production by producing a graphic novel, a flash fiction story, a storyboard, a character portrait, an animatic and an animation of an original story written by you.

In English class we had to write a couple of flash fictions and then chose one of the two. The flash fiction we choose, would then be made in to a graphic novel or also called a comic. Our graphic novel would then be scanned in our webaudio class and then we'd take the scanned version of it and separate in to individual scenes in photoshop. Then we'd put the individual scenes from our graphic novel and then created our animatic in the program Flash CC.

For the Documentary unit, we had to find a researchable topic that had to do with a specific location in our community. I chose to research why small independant music stores were going out of business and the location I used to research was the Starving Musician. Being forced to interview strangers from the store helped me become more comfortable interviewing in the future. These things always seem scary at first, but always end up being a lot of fun!

For our Experimental Unit, we had to chose randomly, a concept statement. My concept statement was exploring the feeling of anger by accepting myself and ways we had to explore our "feelings" so to speak, was we had to create 75 lines of poems in English class all having to do with our concept statement. I recall for our very first poem we made, we had to get an object of some value or meaning to us that could symbolize our concept statement. The object that I brought in was one of my many Starwars action figures, in which was the most badass and that of course of Boba Fett. Boba Fett was one of my favorite so I decided to use him to symbolize anger in way. I then wrote a poem about him and his connection with anger and accepting himself as a bounty hunter.

Welcome to my Profile website. This website profiles David Benzer. The point of this project was to feature an interesting member of our community. I featured my profile person, David Benzer, through an essay in English class, a Magazine and profile portrait in Design class, and this website in Web/Audio class.

I chose right away to profile David Benzer, a camera operator for the San Francisco Giants and the CEO of The David Benzer Cancer Foundation. Writing the essay in English required me to do 3 interviews. Design class required me to go to At&t Park and take photos of David Benzer. At At&t Park I had field passes to go on the field and take close pictures of David in his element, one of which ended up being my Portrait photo of him. For Webaudio class, we had to record our 3 interviews and create a website for our profile person.
