Hello again, and welcome to my second website. Unlike my first website, which was a mars colony, I decided to make this website more of a design with a flourescent theme then a setting. The goal of this website was to not make the background as complicated but to provide a cleaner and neater looking website than my first one.

Overall, this narrative unit was very fun for me because I love coming up with creative stories, and I was able to do this in both English and Web/Audio. My favorite part of this unit was the animation that we made in Flash because I got to use one of my stories that I had written previously, and I was able to turn it into my first animated film.

In English, we wrote a short fictional story on a topic of our choosing. I liked this unit because I was able to put my imagination to work again; however, I more importantly learned the key elements of a story that capture an audiences's attention. I learned about how protagonists, besides being the main characters of a story, also are the characters who are forced to face a conflict, whether it be an internal or external conflict. I learned how the antagonists aren't necessary the main villan of the story or even a villan at all, but they are characters who force the protagonist to face the conflict in the story. Although this information might seem basic to some people, I was really able to learn from it. I was able to incoorperate it into my short story and animation, which I think drastically improved both.

Lastly, we worked on a photonarrative and an illustration in design. Although these projects weren't nearly as time consuming as the animation, they were the hardest for me. In the beginning of this unit, I had issues as to what messages my photonarrative and illustration would say. For my photonarrative, I originally had a different vision in mind than the pictures I took and the message I wanted to spread, but after looking at my photos and reviewing them with Ms. Pedinotti, I decided to pick two different photos than the original ones.

So far, this has been my favorite unit, and I have truly enjoyed everything I have worked on. I hope you enjoy my work!
