Welcome to my Narrative Website! Here you will find my masterpiece of a story composed in various works of visual art.
The Narrative Unit, second quarter, is about creating a story using imagery. I began with a story idea for my graphic novel, which eventually evolved into a flash fiction. These two elements were created in English.
From there, I created a photo narrative in Design to depict the conflict and resolution of my flash fiction. Using the elements of design, I designed and worked on an illustration in Adobe Illustrator. Each component had it's own symbolic meaning to entise viewers to look beyond the initial components of the piece. Then came something new. Adobe Flash. We first created an Animatic, simply put it is a preview of how the animation would look. After we began drawing out our characters and then animating them in Adobe Flash.
It was very interesting learning how to use the tools that professionals use, especially because Flash seems to crash all the time... Explore the process we used, and enjoy!
