Welcome! This is the homepage of my Narrative Website. Have you ever had to write a story before? In this unit we created a story in English which transformed into an After Effects Books Trailer and Website in WebAudio. Then finally in Design we created a book jacket and surrealist art project!

In the other tabs in this website I will go into more depth on each of the projects and what went into them!

In WebAudio I created my website using dreamWeaver, and my images were either taken, or edited in Photoshop! Next in WebAudio we created a book trailer that consists of a 30 second commercial that is supposed to entice the viewer and make him/her want to pick up our story and read it. Below is my book trailer that I created in After Effects.

In English class we began the unit with an idea for a story. This idea translated into a multiple page short story. I chose to write a story about a girl who wears red rain boots and sees ghosts in puddles. Why does she see these ghosts? Will it ever go away? Why red rain boots? These questions can be answered below. Happy reading!

In design class, I created two main pieces of art. The first was a book jacket for my story Red and the other was for my surrealist unit. I used Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for my book jackets. The book I was describing in the jacket was a story about a young girl who sees ghosts in puddles. I chose a red waterlike background (that I shot) to show red (for the red rainboots) and water for the puddle. Then for the Surrealist unit artwork I used Photoshop. I created an image juxtaposed with 3 different smaller images. One which was shot in HDR, and one that was edited using photoshop filters. I compiled the images together to create a "real" depiction of what goes on in my head when I sleep.
