Hi there! and welcome to my narrative website.
For the narrative unit in Freestyle, we focused on the concept of storytelling. In english, we wrote our own original stories having the classic storytelling scheme; introduction, rising action, climax, and resolution. You can read my shortstory by clicking on the 'shortstory' button on the left.
In design, we worked on two main projects; our Narrative Illustration and our Photonarrative. In our illustration, we chose a scene from either our animation or the story we wrote in english, and then symbolically depicted the scene through an illustration, while using Adobe Illustrator. For the Photonarrative, we also chose a story and used photoshop to create a diptych conveying a suspenseful moment, or 'pregnant pause'; to see my illustration and photonarrative please see the buttons on the left.
Finally for webaudio, we worked on an animation project; we took the graphic novels we created in english and used Adobe Flash to create an Animatic and then ultimatley an animation. This was the most challenging project thus far, but also most rewarding; to see my animation click on the animation button on the left.
