Zenith

The Zenith Project is our version of a senior project here at Freestyle. We are tasked with creating our own projects, to be graded up to standards of our choice. For my Zenith Project, I created a book with a series of photos with different minority groups (, race, sexual orientation, gender, etc.) and marginalized groups facing more subtle discriminations. I set up the photos in multiple mise en scene situations in order to capture these identities and the differences each one faces. I started my project with photography. To create the rest of the project I used a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign. I edited the photos in Photoshop, subsequently placing them in my book, which was created in InDesign. I used Illustrator for some of my graphic design elements which I also then placed in the book. I created the book, placed photos, and text, and designed the layout in InDesign. All in all, I’m really proud of what I created and am excited to share it with people.
