Throughout my Freestyle career, I have learned so much about the different programs and applications that we use. I have become almost an expert in every Adobe application and know how to utilize others. Freestyle Academy has really shaped the way I picture a certain project or a way of thinking. I think more creatively and am more open to different ideas and styles. I am lucky to have these professional tools and classes in my high school years while others have not. I work like a professional, preform like one, and am expected to act like one while I am on the campus. At Freestyle, they treat you like an adult that has a job and is doing his or her best work.

The purpose of this conceptual project was not to just turn in for a grade but express yourself. At freestyle I got to truly release myself and let my creativity flow, this project let be do so. The conceptual project was to make a website to show off all the work we have done so far and on coming projects. When I walked into class I was motivated to work on my assignments instead of ignoring them. The amount of completion was spread out evenly. For example, the poems we wrote in english, then the artwork for the poems we learned in design to use photoshop. Then finally we put it all together in a display. We learned a lot of things spread out through all of our classes then were told to put our own creativity and make a project incorporating all the skills we learned.

The Narrative Project’s main purpose is to evaluate our chosen story into depth. For example, my story was about a horse that thinks he’s in the right group by hanging our with the Zebras. He just wants to fit in. To complete this project we had to have an element in each class we had to complete. In english we had to make the story without dialogue. In design class we had to complete an illustration board of the main plot of the story. Then in digital media, We displayed all of the work onto this website.

My first interviewee is Tim Laplante, and he is the general manager of Century Cinema 16 in Mountain View California. My documentary is about business management, and he is important because he manages the most grossing theater in the country. He holds a big title and I can use him for my documentary as an example for a good business manager. He can tell me his techniques and strategies for managing a business.

Explorations was the first freestyle project where we got to explore and work on some of our own ideas instead of being given a prompt and following it. We got to choose any topic that we found interesting and produced a final project showing what skills we learned, interesting hobbies, and something new. For my explorations project I pursued in learning how to build a computer. The amount of knowledge and skills that I gained during the experience were definitely worth it.
