Cuidado Dream: A Senior Surreal Photo by Paige Topole (2013)

I had a dream where the ocean that I was sailing on became a flaming pool, and it eventually evolved into a painting, where everything was blue and purple. To represent this I took a HDR photo of a boat. Around this boat there are caution signs that show how dreams are dangerous, and often advised against. I then blended a photo of a shore so that the boat is floating over the shore. I edited the shore to become more vivid to show that the photo is not a reality, and to make it even more dream like. Above the boat is a painted sky that looks like a sunset. This painting has defined brushstrokes that give the photo a sense of reality.
