Rabbit in Wonderland: A Senior Surreal Photo by Yu-Ju Chen (2013)

For my HDR photo, I used photos of a small tree growing out of pebbles in my front yard. To make an HDR photo, you use three photos of the same thing, in the same position, but in three different exposures. This way, all the colors, shadows, lights, and textures stand out more. I photoshopped my pet rabbit onto the photo. I then copied the rocks and tree to put over the rabbit, so it looks like he is sitting behind the tree. For the fog, I crumbled a sheet of paper and took a photo of it. I selected parts of the paper on photoshop and placed it over the photo. I lowered the opacity and changed the transparency to pin light for over 10 layers of paper to make it into a light, wispy smoke.
