My inspiration for this project was my new found talent and love for creating stickers out of people. I decided that it was best to create stickers out of my favorite TV Show: Criminal minds, and make the cast into real stickers that people can use and put on their computers/in their room, etc. I started out my project by making an Illustrator file, and placing images I found of the characters I wanted to use. I used the pen tool to trace outlines, and draw in any other details I wanted to use. Then I made the outlines into a live paint group, and colored the outline accordingly. Finally, I traced around the whole image, enlarged it, and filled it with a white background, which would be the background of the sticker.
If I would change this project, I would definitely add more characters, and maybe even from different TV Shows as well. I think I could also benefit from spending more time on the small details, and making the outline look more realistic. However, I really enjoyed being able to make the characters look a more cartoonish style, and creating stickers to print it out. Overall, this project was really fun and I would definitely invest in doing something like it again.
