I have always admired pop art and cartoon style art but I never actually tried it myself. I used this project as an opportunity to explore a different artistic style and something that inspired me was comic books. I wanted to create art that has bold colors and is fun to look at.
This project required us to use Illustrator which gave us a chance to improve our skills with the program. I also enjoyed that we had complete creative freedom, and overall I think this gave me a chance to become much more comfortable with Illustrator.
