The song we used for our parody is named “#CERTIFIED” by BabyTron. The parody’s theme is about our love for taco bell. We chose this song because we both agreed the song was suitable for the theme.
The process of the parody consisted of us struggling to write good lyrics, and even got another friend to help us come up with some lyrics. Eventually though, after some hard brainstorming and a couple of days, we got the full lyrics for both of our parts of the song. The thing we valued most about the process of making this parody was the fun and hysterical process of recording the song and we appreciated the good laughs we made whilst listening to the end result of it.
The message of our lyrics was basically to express our great mutual agreement about how we like to eat taco bell. We used to always go to the skate park and then eat taco bell after, so this positive opinion on taco bell definitely roots from those days. Our most proud moment from the parody song was when we were recording it in the studio, because even though we may not be the best rappers, we still got in the booth and tried our best.
