For my parody song, I chose to use the song careless whisper by George Michael, this is because careless whisper is really the only song that I can sing the entirety of for karaoke. Initially I wanted to do piano man or something similar but I decided against it because I didn't know the lyrics or flow of the song that well.
Once I had which song I was doing, I had to figure out what I would be talking about and to be honest I had no ideas at all. So much so that I went onto rhymezone and found things that rhymed with whisper and ended up with predictor. It reminded me of a recent time where I had just completely guessed for a lot of the questions on a test. I thought that this was a funny idea and thought that it kind of went along with the original premise of regret in the song. I really enjoyed being able to point out some of my faults and my regret in a fun way, and recording the lyrics for the parody was a really fun time.
My proudest moment during the production of the parody song was the finished product because although I thought my singing might end up pretty bad and my lyrics werent that good, I was pretty happy with how it ended up.
