I really like this piece because of its simplicity and style. Despite the subject being just a simple apple core, Claes Oldenburg makes it look interesting through his style and the colors he used. He made a simple thing look interesting and eye-catching. I like the lineart of the piece and how it's a little messy. I also like how the colors don’t stay inside the lines.
