After my fierce, determined efforts were defined through the first year at Freestyle, I can now include those projects on my newest project listing page. This is the site that contains my entire library of work that I have completed at Freestyle thus far. Design concepts that I have put into this page are a product of my developed skills. I have applied old and new Adobe Dreamweaver techniques in the process of creating this web page. My creativity is compiled on this page, waiting to be explored by outside viewers. Inspiration is placed in between the top and bottom edges of a hexagonal shaped navigation buttons, and previews the insight and boundaries of my imagination. Hover over and color spreads inside the poly-sided shape. A blue colored dot–blue representing, in my perspective, peace and serenity–slides below the words that numerically list my projects. A line fades into existence simultaneously with the dot placed along the line. The movement begins at the first edge of the line and at the project 8 button, it lies at the end. This represents the simplicity of visually showing the order of project numbers. Click on each button and the entire page transitions smoothly to each intro of each of my projects. Enjoy the variety of my completed work composed through these 8 different websites and through your analysis of my projects, keep an open mind.

My Self-Portrait website is designed with buttons that will direct to each project I have been working on in during this unit at Freestyle. This site portrays my personal experiences I will never forget. The experiences that have developed my personality and current perspective. While viewing the various projects on my Self-Portrait, many things will be learned about my life. Each creative project expresses the different talents I developed during this project. I accomplished many of my goals and overcame challenges. I developed a strong connection to most of the Adobe software and was able to discover myself through these tools.

My goal for the narrative project was tell a story with my creativity and portray it using Photoshop and Adobe Flash. There is a diptych I created using Photoshop, another illustration using Illustrator, and an animation/animatic using Flash. Through the journey of creating my narrative story, I had to dive into my emotions. During the months of this unit, I worked very hard to complete each project perfectly as to describe my narrative with quality. It began with English class at Freestyle in which we learned about short stories and narrative writing. I created a short story that developed through pictures and writing. My narrative website represents the infinite opportunities that are ahead and the millions of new stories to create and tell.

The documentary was the most challenging and valuable unit of my first year at Freestyle. My goal was to find a topic that would portray a hidden story in my local area. This project pushed the boundaries of the Adobe programs. We utilized the book editing in Adobe InDesign. Using my images and designs imported from Photoshop and Illustrator, the audio editing from Pro Tools, and the website creator from Dreamweaver, I could compose of a slideshow that presented my documentary visually and verbally. The process of completing this documentary involved interviewing three people at the Red Rock Cafe in downtown Mountain View. For my project, I wanted to overcome stage fright by understanding the performance techniques and different perspectives of other musicians. This project was very inspiring to complete and I developed new perspectives in understanding people’s lives.

I enjoyed this project the most because I engaged the conjunction of my future that lays undiscovered in front of me. Imaginative, unexpected and unusual art lies on this page. The goal of the experimental unit is to venture deep into our thoughts and emotions and from that, spawn a new creation completely uncategorized by standard thinking. I created art that has no restrictions or limitations. I created my own original and inspired song with use of editing and instrumental recording. I learned a bunch of new visual and audio techniques during this unit. I also learned more about web design and was able to create a clean simple look to my site. Through this unit, I was able to be infinitely creative and expand the boundaries of my imagination.

Click below to engage in a story that will take you off your feet. Through hard work and focus, I have created a website that I am very proud of. The design is elegant, simple and clean. The content is overflowing with a journey for you to discover. Read away and click away. During this project, I had to overcome the fears of speaking with someone I had never met and then get to know them. I have uncovered their life story through this project. Using photography, writing, presentation, magazine design, and website elements, I was able to portray my experience on my profile website. I hope you are inspired by my site.

This website is another grand production during my year at freestyle. The unit asked us to work with a group to create an authentic music video with music and visual representation to follow the lyrics and vocals. On this site, my emotions and persistent effort to create something professional is clear. I have a variety of art pieces to go along with the theme of musical artists. Loosen your judgment and discover a fresh take on music and film. I hope you find yourself indulged in the creative process and final production of the music video my group and i completed.

An experience it was, to create this second narrative website. This time around, I used PHP to form the elements and content on this page. My surrealism art will inspire you and my book jacket will amaze you. The goal for this unit was to tell a narrative through story columns, an animation and visual accompaniment. Click below to experience a story and embark on an adventure like never before.

The Exploration unit was an extension of my experimental creativity and thought process. For the unit, we dived into unorthodox class procedures alongside reading a book called “Blink.” We composed unusual art pieces and “amplified” them into a final art piece which pushed our experimental abilities to the limit. There is interesting artwork and details of the explorative unit we ventured through. Enjoy the last artwork and project compositions on the final website I have created at Freestyle.
