My name is Aidan Juliano. I am a junior at Mountain View High School who joined Freestyle because of my passion for making movies. Ever since I could hold a camera, me and my sister have produced countless home movies, though none of them were very good. Regardless, that simple pass time quickly grew into a hobby, and then maybe one day, a potential career opportunity. Freestyle is my first experience producing semi-official films, and I am already blown away by the production quality.
My core values are persistence, non-conformity, and self-preservation. Outside of school, I am a huge fan of the theater. I spend most of my free time in the fall and spring working on the MVHS Theater productions as a sound designer, and an editor for the show’s recordings. I also enjoy video games, music, reading, writing, and computer programming.
As a Freestyle student, I am worried I have set my expectations of myself a little too high. I feel pressured to create something greater than I have before, even though I’ve learned firsthand not to get too ambitious. Regardless, I’m going to put all of my effort into every project I create. Thanks to Freestyle, I have been given the opportunity to use industry standard materials years ahead of most people, allowing me to get a jump start on applying for jobs and one day making film my career.
