<\/figure>\n\n\n\nThe pastel painting assignment was the first painting method we learned in photoshop, and it was honestly my favorite. Zooming in and painting the small details with a pastel brush was therapeutic and really satisfying to see the final product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lighting and shadows made it really hard to change anything in the image without altering it to an unrealistic extent. I was worried that it would be too dark to see any color in the background, but thankfully I was able to find the tinges of blue in the corners of the frame to provide some contrast to the bronze in the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
