Art I would ADD to my Personal Museum

Dopamine Regression by Melissa Cody

This piece reflects my taste since I enjoy looking at abstract pieces where my eyes are completely mesmerized in various directions. For example, typically a woven tapestry is supposed to have very orderly lines and patterns, however in this piece the artist purposefully weaves black lines on top of the colors to create even more sense of direction. This is reminiscent of the idea that the artist was trying to convey of Navajo territories being taken over by new settlers as the original Navajo weaving patterns are now distorted.
