It&#8217;s actually the same rose I used in our junior narrative film. I never threw it away because I was too lazy. The emotion I chose to show is loneliness. The flower is photographed small in the frame and completely separate from the other petals. It&#8217;s also in the bottom third which makes it feel even smaller. If it was in the center it would have looked more important (which is not the emotion I&#8217;m going for) so placing it in a third makes a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I photographed it against my white bookcase and blurred out the lines in Photoshop so the background is completely white.
