This project was much bigger than last year\u2019s flash fiction one, letting us flesh out our world. We read \u201cParable of the Sower\u201d by Octavia Butler, which helped us understand how to build worlds. At the end, we pitched our ideas to the class, who acted as critics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A challenge to me was creating ideas for a realistic yet fantasy-like universe.
