I thought that the marker and whiteboard would make for a good prop &#8211; as it&#8217;s telling the story of Jake&#8217;s frustrations of having to create these messages over and over again. I considered taking a photo of simply Jake&#8217;s messages, but I thought it would be a more interesting picture if I captured him while he was in the process of writing.
