This week’s challenge was to use the rule of thirds to capture emotion. At first, I had no idea what to do because there are so many ways to express emotion in photography. However, after trying a few ideas, I settled for this one that I took in a building with tall and thin stained glassed windows. I quite enjoy the moody tone of this photo and how the blue light coming from the blue stained glass in the windows can symbolize sadness or melancholy. I tried my best to line up the squares of blue light to the upper left intersection and the bottom right intersection of the rule of thirds grid.
