Introduction
Hey guys, Ann here! Welcome to my project information page (a website that leads you to other websites. (Wow inception))! This website incorporates all my project that I have created in my time at freestyle. You will be able to see all my project from my first and second year here. You will be able to see my progress and improvement that I have made with each website as I learn new features and design skills that enhance my website. I hope that I have improved vastly from my very first project information page that I created. By clicking on each tab, You can see each of my project and the improvements that I have made as the year goes by (hopefully). By clicking on each links, you will be able to see my individual website that I created for each unit. Within it, you can see all the project that I have done in English, design and web audio.

So far, I have learned a lot at Freestyle Academy. At the beginning, I had no idea what dreamweaver was, but now we use it every time to code our websites. I have become familiar with so much more tools and I hope that is evident as you see my website and the content material in it. In our first year here, we learned the basics of HTML and CSS but now, in our second year, we expanded to learn Javascript and so much more. Though coding website is still a long hard process to learn, I am enjoying my time here as I advance my knowledge each day.

Self-Portrait
Our main question for this unit was “who am I?” In this self- portrait unit, our main assignment was to describe who we are. We had to answer this question constantly as we wrote our poetry and essay. On top of that, we created a diptych and illustration in Design to further enhance our essay. To wrap it all up, we created our own self- portrait website to describe perfectly who we are. Not only did we create a podcast but we wrote about our interests and who we are. Overall, you can see the new skills that I learnt using the adobe applications. You can see the pictures that I uploaded in Lightroom, illustration I drew in Illustrator, diptych I created in Photoshop and website I designed in Dreamweaver. To see all my works and interests, feel free to click on my self portrait website!
Narrative
This narrative unit allowed us to challenge our creativity and imagination. On our own, we had to come up with a story that we wanted to tell to people. Throughout this unit, we got to learn the full process of creating a story and portraying it visually. First, in english, we created a graphic novel based on the story we wrote. Then in design we illustrated the character and photographed our character. In WebAudio, we created our website, animatic, and animation. If you want to read my story and see the projects associated to it, feel free to navigate through my narrative website!.
Documentary
STEAM is a new concept that has been discussed about. It adds a new twist to the STEM element that has been emphasized in our generation. However, in my documentary unit, I decided to talk about STEM vs. STEAM and how the New Museum Los Gatos challenges this debate. You will be able to learn about my documentary location and my angle that pertains to my location. I discuss about the topic of STEM vs. STEAM and how we should value art education. I present the idea that STEM should turn to STEAM and how my location, the Museums of Los Gatos provides that. I engage this topic within my book, slideshow, and process. Conceptual
“I am exploring the feeling of jealousy through the experience of seeing children play.” This was my statement that I had to work around with in my conceptual unit. We had to use this absurd statement to test our imagination. We got to interpret the statement and find a metaphorical meaning to it. To start off this unit, we wrote multiple poems (haiku, slam poem, etc.) based on our statement. Then, in design, we created an conceptual illustration; in Web Audio, we created conceptual music and animation. This unit gave us so much flexibility as we had to delve deep into our minds to find a metaphor behind our eccentric statement. To see how I interpreted my statement, feel free to click through my conceptual website!
Profile
Sanae Lash is someone who exemplifies a positive impact towards the community. For the profile unit, I did a profile on my dad’s friend Sanae Lash. She is a cancer fighter that manages to remain active and positive regardless of what comes her way. For this unit, I not only wrote a profile on Sanae but I created a magazine to complete this journal style project. We also made a website that showcased our profile person in depth and so much more. To learn more about my profile person, feel free to click through my profile website!

Innovator
For this unit, we were allowed to do anything we wanted. We were given the freedom to explore our passions and create something new. For my innovator project, I worked in a group and together we created a fake business. We produced posters, a stop motion, a website, and many more! Hope you enjoy our project!
Portfolio
For our last unit, we were required to present two of our favorite pieces that we made here at Freestyle. We presented our work in front of a panel of professionals. I decided to focus on my design works and presented my profile magazine and short animation.
