about me

My name is Anna Custodio, I’m a student at Los Altos High School and of course, Freestyle Academy. I’d describe myself as an avid artist and observer, as well as a passionate, thoughtful, and charismatic person. I am the second to youngest sibling out of 5, one of which is a Freestyle alumnus. I’d like to consider myself good at relating to people and collaborating with others’ ideas, which I think most of my artwork can reflect.
Some of my core values in life include honesty, loyalty, credibility, intention, adaptability, respect, self-control, and personal development.
I would like to study art and hopefully get certified to be a tattoo artist and continue to do that until retirement. This is a dream of mine because ever since I can remember I’ve had a strong passion for making art, specifically drawing from reference. As I’ve improved my skills over the years, I’ve come to realize that I want my work to affect people, and stick with them, as a tattoo physically will on one’s skin. I’d love to live outside of California, if possible outside of the US, and travel every couple of years to work in a new area.
My expectations for myself as a Freestyle student are to never give up no matter how impossible a task may seem, always be open-minded to every person you meet, and simply always put my best effort into my work. I see myself growing technically and artistically by building more patience with editing software, as well as physical art. I expect to become better at not rushing the creative process and having more self-discipline.
I value the privilege we Freestyle students have to be able to use such extremely high value and professional equipment as high schoolers, that some universities don’t even have access to. I also appreciate the community this academy creates between students and staff, and how very quickly friends are made and memories are formed.
