I love observing the different way light bends and how it can form flexible ribbons across windows, trees, and other objects. So, I decided to photograph the late afternoon sun streaming through trees in my front yard. In the photo, the trees serve as a more anchored and weighted part of the scene because of their vertical stature, whereas the sun beams represent a more angelic and light floaty feeling.
