Usage of Pro Tools to work on sound and music. 2. Learn how to use the recording studio to make music. 3. We mainly used electronic MIDI instruments for this project, meaning that no acoustic sound was recorded. For my beat, I took inspiration from the beat of &#8220;Green Onions&#8221; by Booker T and the MGs, and overlaid some classic 12 bar blues in b flat over that. The melody was improvised on keyboard across several takes, along with some solos. I then put a walking bassline over that.
