However, recently, my dad has been incredibly inspirational in helping me grow into an adult by supporting me in applying to colleges and learning how to complete basic adulting tasks (like cleaning bathrooms). There is a lot I value about my dad, like his incredible amount of patience and calming presence that keeps me steady when I am struggling. So, I decided to use this prompt as an opportunity to celebrate my dad and all the ways he inspires me. This photo was taken on a family outing to Filoli gardens. We were having a lot of fun, and I like this photo because it captured a genuine smile from him that never fails to remind me of happy memories. I will continue to make an effort to learn from him wherever I can and strive to be a better version of myself.
