For Veteran&#8217;s Day weekend, my family traveled to Tahoe. It was just beginning to turn from fall to winter, and there was the tiniest bit of snow on the ground. Tahoe is beautiful in general, and I decided to try and capture that beauty while out on a walk with my camera. I took quite a few photos, but eventually settled on one containing an old tree stump with scattered bits of snow around it. I liked the ways the seasons came through as colors\/elements in the photo. Fall is represented by the muted reds, browns and greens, while the onset of winter is represented by the brighter white of the new snow. All in all, I am grateful for the beautiful scenery the trip to Tahoe allowed me to immortalize through my camera and memories.
