Every time I see one, I start absentmindedly counting the dots on their back, or think about how they signal the start of spring. As mundane as those thoughts are, I appreciate them because they take me off of the well beaten path usually occupying my mind. I, like many humans, am constantly thinking about what&#8217;s next, what task I have to accomplish or thing I have to do. It can be stressful to think like that because it&#8217;s easy to start getting overwhelmed by what&#8217;s ahead. I like little things that make me pause enough to breathe, things like ladybugs that show up wherever.
