Zenith

I think the Zenith project is supposed to be our most significant project of the year. It was either something that we put the skills we learned in the past two years into or something we learn completely separate from our classes while having the same concept. I did the 2nd choice. I put hours into learning how to use Live 2d Cubism, hours being 2 days. I made a vtuber model. A 2d drawing that moves with my face, something I have been wanting to do for a while and waiting until this project to put all my passion into. I was able to make the bare minimum with my skills and am very proud of how it turned out.

Using Photoshop was something I was already familiar with. However, separating layers and different parts of my drawings was a challenge for me. I had to keep going back and forth with my drawing. It became very tedious but it was mandatory. Obviously, I had to keep this part of me motivated and I ended up making something out of it. The neck never connected properly to the rest of the body but that’s my fault. It’s something I plan to get better at in the future.

After all the hard work I did on this project, I was finally able to finish it. Or at least have a working model, I do plan to use my summer to make more of these models but for now, they will just be a little side project.
