Reflections

This Reflections unit I had a lot of fun. I learned a lot about myself. By engaging in projects like a personal essay in English, a mandala in Digital Media, and a video essay in Film, I was able to get a deeper understanding of my self.

Mandala

Using Illustrator for making a mandala is an enjoyable process that allows for great creativity. The basic steps involve drawing shapes, adding colors, and combining elements to create a unique piece of art. With Illustrator’s intuitive tools, you can easily create intricate designs and beautiful illustrations. The possibilities are endless!

Photoshop Art

I had a lot of fun doing the photoshop projects. This was my first time using photoshop so I was getting very creative with every detail.

This is my pastel painting over a picture of Mufasa and Simba from the Lion King. I chose this photo because I feel that Mufasa represents me. I think of myself as the Mufasa of todays world. Mufasa signifies Strength, Passion, and Leadership which are my main core values.

I recently watched the movie NOPE by Jordan Peele and that’s what inspired this painting. I wanted to make it as simple as possible. Just like in the movie I added a unidentified aerial phenomena behind the clouds. But just small enough where it wouldn’t be noticeable at first sight.

Water color effect – Movement

My watercolor effect painting of athletes is intended to capture the spirit of athleticism and the power of endeavor. It emphasizes the value of teamwork, respect and hard work that is necessary for success. The vibrant colors and dynamic brushstrokes represent the energy and passion that can be found in sports, while the watercolor effect highlights the beauty of the natural world. Through this piece, I hope to inspire others to find the strength and courage to push themselves further and to always strive for excellence.

Compisition

Working on this surreal photoshop project opened my eyes to the diverse and creative possibilities of art. Seeing the unique and thought-provoking images created by others made me appreciate the talent and craftsmanship available in the world of digital art. Working on this project helped me recognize the immense value of others’ art and gave me a greater respect for their creative efforts. The surreal photoshop project also enabled me to gain a better understanding of the power of art to make an impact on viewers.

Film

Film was very challenging but also very fun.
