To start the unit, we read Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. The book taught me a lot of new comedic techniques that I would further use for my project. Then we had to study two different comedians of our choice and compare and contrast their comedy styles. At first we wanted to do pranks on people in public but it didnt work out. So then I had the idea of making an absurd medicine commercial. During production we lost all our audio, so we had to do voice overs. I think what I enjoyed most was the creative freedom we had throughout the whole process. Working with Xavier helped a lot because we both had the same ideas, so it was easier to execute.
