“Palmen” by Sigmar Polke would not make the cut to my personal museum because while I enjoy the texture of the piece, and some of the subject matter, I don’t enjoy the more realistic/photographic and less abstract style. The piece, while very valuable as a picture-esq image, is not something I personally enjoy very deeply because I prefer art that leans to more abstract, cartoonish, or simplistic styling. However, I do enjoy the textured look of the piece and it reminds me of a photo-print.
