I went through many versions of the final video essay which is linked below. Originally, I thought I would adapt my Common App essay into this project, but I ended up going in a different direction entirely. Tying together video, audio, music, and graphics, I sought to portray who I was through taking different snapshots of my life. In my audio, I focus on the bigger picture, but through the use of visuals and the notes from my iPhone notes app, I delve into specific moments of my everyday life that reveal more about who I am. I loved making this project. It took a lot of trial and error, writing and rewriting, editing and reworking, but I am happy with the final product.
