I personally find celebrity culture so fascinating. We put people who pretend to be other people (or who sing to us or who yell at their family on TV) on this pedestal and imagine them to be more than human. It’s like a weird social experiment.
But yes, I do have a candle with Timothée Chalamet’s face on it on my bedside table. And no, he does not feel like a stranger to me.
