This is Red Green by Ellsworth Kelly. What’s unique about this piece is the careful construction of the composition. The canvases are meticulously measured and put together before even being painted. Additionally, these canvases remind me of the Chinese tangrams I played with as a child. Although unintentional, this piece evokes an important memory of mine, and I want to display this piece as a reminder of that memory.
