I would include this piece of art in my own personal museum because of how well it caught my eyes. While at the MOMA, I saw this before leaving a room, two violins held up against the wall. It didn’t match what was around it, so I approached the piece and took a photo. I like music, and I even have a soft spot towards violins (as I played it for a bit in elementary) . Something about it looked a little sad, lonely to me. Just before I could leave, they started playing, and I stood there and listened to the sad song. It was scratchy, and out of tune, yet at the same time it felt meaningful to me. It’s as if they could play one last time, like a final use.
