About Me

Freestyle Graduated Class of 2023

I will never forget my AM Design family and our mother, Ms. P.

I am fiercely independent, which can be self detrimental at times. I insist on doing what feels right to me even if others disagree. My mom says that my love language is freedom. But I do have deep friendships that have been with me since kindergarten. I value having options and I work hard for them. I have two jobs so I can have financial freedom when I want. School can be stressful, but I do well. I’m proud of the work I do, except my spelling— I’m a terrible speller. I love anything requires creativity, but perseverate about precision and clean lines. Tragic romance books and movies are my escape, but I dislike romance for myself. I dream of extroversion, but need an introvert reality. Don’t wake me up on Saturdays. The way to my heart is through massage. I mosh barefoot. I love moments of wild. I value my health and work to maintain it. I value visual beauty and create it around me. My dream-life involves a little exercise, a lot of sun, and a steady stream of sushi and fresh healthy foods topped with avocado. I love my family, despite moments of annoyance, and my sisters are my minions. Our love of our pets, Potato and Dumpling, bond us. I love my grandparents and the old-school packages they send me every holiday, complete with notes, candy, and socks. My ultimate dream is to go to college in New York- I feel like I belong there. Although living a busy and complex life, I dream of simplicity.

Besides procrastinating the unavoidable homework load that comes with being a high schooler, I love to make time for the things I love. Reading is a reinstituted hobby of mine. After forgetting how much joy books bring me over the past few years due to the draw of social media, being sucked into to vortex leading to another world and forgetting about the world around me. I also play volleyball which allows me an escape when hitting the ball as hard as I can and dancing with my teammates. I work two jobs which I adore (although not quite as much as I love the cash.) Listening to my older coworkers tell me stories about their adolescence, families, and advice lightens my day. Shopping is a weakness of mine. Although I adore filling my closet, I’m not sure my wallet would agree. Lastly, I love to see my incredible friends who never fail to make me smile. I searched for my people for so long, and I can finally say I found them.

Freestyle was my home, and I will forever cherish my time there.
